Gary Bringus - President of Heartland Homes has been in the construction industry for over 25 years. Gary started as a carpenter, but it wasn't long before he recognized that his true talent was creating and designing new homes. Heartland Homes is a family business run by Gary and his wife, Michele. They reside in the northland area of Kansas City and have four children and two grandchildren. Heartland Homes offers a sophisticated blend of quality craftsmanship and award winning designs. Keith and Kevin McConnell, have over twenty five years experience in constructing homes in the Kansas City area. Both began their experience at the framing stage and for the last fifteen + years have been building homes as general contractors. MBW Construction builds between 20-25 homes per year in the Northland. Homes are available in Copperleaf, Embassy Park and Carriage Hill Estates.

Keith and Kevin credit their experience at the rough-in phase of the construction process as teaching them how to build a structurally sound home. Hands-on experience, coupled with Keith’s eye for design, are the principal reasons they give for explaining their high level of success in the industry. Their awards include “All Metro,” “Distinctive Design,” and the prestigious “Pick of the Parade.”

Keith and Kevin, along with Keith’s wife Alanna and Kevin’s wife Mickey, provide a team approach that allows MBW Construction to give each homebuyer a custom home strategically planned with impeccable service.

Another aspect of MBW’s success is their dedication to delivering a great home for the money. Many features usually considered an upgrade are included in their base price. Examples include Gold series R-15 blown wall insulation, fully sprinkled yards, 50 gal. water heaters, wrought iron spindles, bull-nosed wall corners, low-e argon gas filled windows, and granite kitchen and half-bath counters.

MBW takes pride in customer satisfaction; one homeowner, Pete Ribaste says “Service after the sale is a big thing with me,” Pete commented, “This is my fifth house and it’s the best experience I’ve ever had with a builder. I tell everyone that if they want a builder, these are the guys.”

Sommers Homes LLC is a family owned and operated business located in the Northland since 2003, headed by brother and sister, Brian and Susan Sommers. Brian, with hands-on experience in current construction practices, and Susan, with both degree and experience in design, work together to offer distinctive homes to our clients.
